I'm not talking about a dream that we all experience while we sleep. I'm talking about a dream that shows a new career or pursuit.

Most people have these kinds of dreams and some people have the same one over and over again sometimes consuming their every waking moment. Is there anything wrong with this kind of dream?

Some people might suggest that to have a recurring dream that depicts a new reality is simply daydreaming where this dream only acts as a way to fill the void from a less than satisfying job and provides a necessary escape from their current reality making it somewhat bearable. The interesting and more significant point though, is that this dream may be what should be turned into a day-to-day reality that provides a more pleasing and fulfilling life.

So, why not invest the energy wasted on dreaming by developing a plan that will move you closer and closer to what you really desire? Some reasons for not starting is just that; you never start; you never take any steps whatsoever in taking any steps or actions. If you find yourself in this situation, one positive action is to talk with someone you know who has changed their career, someone who has had to make sustained effort to change despite obstacles or circumstances. Why?

Simple. The person who has taken action to move beyond an unsatisfying career has learned what it takes; has developed a set of procedures; has formulated an action plan; and one who has learned to overcome obstacles. Wouldn't it be a lot easier to ask them for guidance or suggestions than going it alone, or, worse still, staying mired in current circumstances where the only positive is your dream?

By Byron Pulsifer

athul b nairhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04502070948165969045noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-712342464837008787.post-71609084659178940612009-10-11T06:42:00.000+05:302009-10-11T06:42:00.402+05:30Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi
Mahandas Karamchand Gandhi, a stubborn man who changed the history of India. He started form no. He would have continued his practice as a lawyer in South Africa as in Indian, though there was racism or castism.

instead he decided this thing should be changed by first being an Indian by wearing the traditional dress of Indian. He boycotted the foreign attire he used while in SA. He became a hero in India while his return from there.

The first thing he did was to discover India by travelling. He travelled the entire country to find out how people lived and he became a hero of poor.

The strong will power of him made him a world hero and father of the nation. We say 'No more to gloom and doom!'

It is time to rise to our true potential... to experience total wellness in every area of our lives, contributing to solutions to maintain the quality of life we enjoy in our communities.

It is time for each of us to care more, to shine, and to carry the light of HOPE everywhere!

No one individual or one group, not even our government, can do it alone!

This is the time that we need each other most, to work together, joining our hands together in making a difference.

For YOURSELF:

1. Smile more often! Be amazed of how many will be happy to smile back at you. Besides, this is the best facial exercise you can make to delay aging signs -- so smile!

2. Eat right! Boost your immune system by eating more natural food, like fresh fruits and vegetables. This alone can significantly reduce your weight and health concerns.

3. Exercise regularly. The reason is not just to lose weight, but it's a great habit to maintain good health by improved circulation, elimination of body toxins, etc.

4. Drink water more than 'colored drinks' for your health. Water has no sugar or additives.

5. Read and learn more. Devote time and money for self-improvement, the best investment you can make that truly pays off.

6. Love, care, give, and share more. This practice is the very purpose of your life.

7. Keep believing. Pray. Nurture your spirit. This won't cost you any, but help or answer to your needs can be just a prayer away.

For those YOU CARE ABOUT:

8. If you love them, then say it and show it! Do not take them for granted. They need both to hear and see you care.

9. Spend more quality time with them. It is what they'll remember most.

10. Visit, write, call those you haven't for a while.

For our SENIORS:

11. Give a helping hand and cheers -- cooking, cleaning, or whatever they are limited to.

12. Give a ride or offer to carpool with them whenever there's a need.

13. Involve them on activities that will continue to stimulate their senses, or they can contribute their gathered wisdom.

For our CHILDREN or YOUTH:

14. Walk or create programs for youth to benefit them and rally for their good future.

15. Give them more opportunities to explore and develop their natural gifts and talents, express their dreams and goals.

16. Encourage our children more by your words and example. Stay positive! .

For our VETERANS: (For the freedom we now enjoy is due to their sacrifices.)

17. Send cards or anything to show you remember and appreciate them.

18. Recognize them and give a smile, a salute, or high-five when you see them around.

19. Support their events and fundraising efforts to help them.

For our HOMELESS Citizens: (Just like you and me, they need care and understanding. )

20. Encourage them by taking time to help them get the help they need/resources to get back on track.

21. Volunteer in your local shelters. There are many ways you can help or contribute.

22. Help create more programs to help them get out of their situation.

For our VOLUNTEERS: (For helping us make things happen.)

23. Big "thank you!" note or anything to show your appreciation of them.

24. Join them and be prepared to do a random act of kindness anytime.

25. How about "volunteers appreciation day" to celebrate them and have a good break?

For our ENVIRONMENT: (We only have one planet, so we must take care of it.)

26. Clean and plant trees with your workmates, neighbors, etc. anywhere permissible.

27. Recycle consciously, not just plastics and papers, but clothes and others you can share. Clean up your closet, garage, or storage for everything that you don't need. Do a yard sale or simply drive to or call local charities for pickup. This is one recycling to meet needs of others.

28. Learn more of what's causing the global warming and contribute to preventions/ solutions.

For ALL of US:

29. Sing, dance, be happy no matter what. Brighter days are yet to come!

30. Speak the truth. Seeking the truth can set someone free.

31. Notice and say something good or positive to someone, and mean it.

32. Learn survival techniques. Always be prepared for any emergency.

33. Accept yourself. You are gifted and blessed more than you know.

34. Be forgiving and understanding as you seek forgiveness and understanding.

35. Learn how to budget or how to manage your money. Most often people have very low-level confidence and they not even ever try to act. They under achieve than the goals set just because of this problem. There are admirable potentialities in every human being. Believe in your strength. As Mark Twain said, “All you need in this life is ignorance and confidence; then success is sure.” And we have to always remember, self-confidence is the first requisite to great undertakings. If we don't believe in ourselves, nothing can change and no one can change us. a self confident man does not have the word impossible in his dictionary. The word impossible should never be used by us, as we say most often things happen. Our mind will frame everything according to what we say and what we believe. So be confident.

athul b nairhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04502070948165969045noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-712342464837008787.post-74088215171763058622009-06-05T21:20:00.004+05:302009-06-05T22:13:00.958+05:30Family Tree of Nehru Family
Shows The Family History of Nehru Family.. All ups got downs too, like waves which rise and fall. But many get disappointed by small failures in their life. We should understand failure is the stepping stone to success. As jets and helicopters pounded targets in the valley, the UN said it was threatening to become one of the world's biggest displacement crises. Troops have killed more than 140 militants in the past 24 hours in a "full-scale" offensive, the army said. It accused the Taleban of trying to stop civilians leaving the area.

Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani has vowed to "eliminate militants and terrorists" from Swat, a bastion of Taleban rule. Despite now abandoned attempts to secure a peace deal in and around Swat, the area - close to the border with Afghanistan - has long been riven by tensions. Some 550,000 people had already been displaced before the current crisis, said UNHCR spokesman Ron Redmond. Those displaced over recent days have been forced to flee with very little preparation, aid workers say, with families often separated, and doctors in displaced camps report widespread psychological trauma. Many are fleeing Mingora, the main town in Swat Valley, which was home to several hundred thousand people before the latest fighting began. Locals say that most of the current fighting is centred on the Kabal and Charbagh areas of Swat, as well as Mingora itself, and fighting is reported in Maidan, Lower Dir. Militant strongholds were hit from the air on Friday as troops conducted operations on the ground.

athul b nairhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04502070948165969045noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-712342464837008787.post-8271938292937486562009-05-08T07:28:00.001+05:302009-05-08T07:39:00.317+05:30Great Quotes : May 08, 2009

One is remembered for what one does for others; not for what one does for self."
M. Soldiers from 18 countries are taking part in the drills at a Georgian army base close to the capital, Tbilisi. But Russia has said the exercises amount to a provocation. They come just nine months after Russia's short war with Georgia and are taking place close to areas where Russian troops are stationed. More than 1,000 soldiers will take part in exercises over a period of more than three weeks.

For Georgia, which has been promised eventual Nato membership, the exercises are a sign that, despite doubts over its candidate status after last year's war with Russia, it has not been forgotten. Russia views the exercises as a provocation and has turned down an invitation to send observers. In recent days its security forces have officially begun patrolling the border between South Ossetia, the epicentre of last summer's conflict, and Georgia. The Georgian government has repeatedly said Russia's actions are to blame for raising tension in the region.

It also accuses Moscow of backing the mutiny at an army base on Tuesday and supporting an alleged coup plot. Russia has denied the allegations. The Georgian government is hopeful that the Nato exercises will give it a chance to prove to its Western allies that it can host an important international event without further disturbances.

For More

athul b nairhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04502070948165969045noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-712342464837008787.post-23841560527412630072009-05-05T17:51:00.002+05:302009-05-05T18:03:55.886+05:30Obama : No To Bangalore

The US President Barrack Obama said his administration will remove the tax benefit given to the companies which outsource their work. Anyway, the economists in the US are of the opinion by doing so the cost of companies will rise to a dramatic level leading to more losses in their profit.

Many US companies that outsource their work to India, to reduce the cost are also concerned like the outsourcing companies in India with the new development policies of Obama after the restriction in H1 visa policy.

athul b nairhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04502070948165969045noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-712342464837008787.post-59281229265667459052009-05-01T12:34:00.001+05:302009-05-01T12:38:17.640+05:30Obama Warns Pakistan.

At least the US agreed, may be because he is not an Italian, Pakistan is the hub of terrorism. He got fed up with Pakistan government. They were acting as if the previous Presidents of America were unaware of this fact. They just want to don’t want to see India becoming a developed nation. They are following the Italian policy of divide and rule. It should be noted that the Italians always wanted to rule the world. They interfere in things which they are not concerned. The Italian face in India is Sonia Gandhi. During 2004 elections she was the Prime Minister candidate and the new paper in Italy were making it a big news. But eventually she was not legally able to be the Prime Minister. But she said she is not interested .Funny explanation. The US want to imbalance the power by supporting Pak. Finally after 9/11 and 26/11 in which a few Americans and Jews were killed in Mumbai, they dislike Pakistan. Now they know the Afghan operation is a failure and they don’t need Pakistan any more. So Obama started to say, the US doesn’t want Pak to be a nuclear armed politically unstable country.

athul b nairhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04502070948165969045noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-712342464837008787.post-47322614951558604992009-04-24T12:53:00.001+05:302009-04-24T12:57:21.223+05:30Burn Your Boats

Most people made their achievements when they face a little pressure. This pressure will make us work hard and don’t have the mind to sit idle unless the goal is achieved.

There is a story of the famous Spanish explorer, Hernado Lortes. He landed in the beach of Mexico in 1519 with his army. He ordered his troops to burn the boats as soon as he reached. He knew this will create a pressure in the soldiers as there is no survival for them unless they win the battle. There is no other escape root for them other than that. This created an urgency in them to finish the battle as soon as possible and eventually the pressure will go from them.

But we should take care as we should not allow the tension to control us.

athul b nairhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04502070948165969045noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-712342464837008787.post-67312038049957673122009-04-22T20:13:00.006+05:302009-04-24T12:58:17.847+05:30Should Gay Marriage Legalized?

It is a well known fact that homosexuality was always there in history. But in later stage it became unacceptable by many. Becoming a Gay or Lesbian is inborn and it is controlled by their hormones. They are helpless and they cannot be changed. As we get attracted towards the opposite sex they get attracted towards same sex due to the brain pattern and hormone release.blogABN. As we can never imagine to have sex with the same sex the homosexuals cant imagine to do it with the opposite. As we got the right to marriage, they should also get the same as they are also humans. The pressure from 'certain groups' should be ignored as they always have a narrow minded approach. blogABNThink and behave like a human being and fight for human rights.

Still there are lot of debate going on. Everyone got the liberty to live their own life. If two people wish to stay together, why others are opposing it. Think like a human being and don't mix religion with this. We are living in 21st century and we should make changes wherever necessary as no religion preaches war but still war is going on. Then why we cannot consider when it comes to human rights.

athul b nairhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04502070948165969045noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-712342464837008787.post-66092735898478004842009-04-22T19:04:00.003+05:302009-04-24T13:02:05.117+05:30Men and Women, Are They Same?<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 255px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhT7egq2VFgkHLaZRATnKOSB2YpUo3Atm4Y-NFuNAVjhvj6pqi53bewE8vmk-6pP2xrxRz1iR-MBDDNxtSyaT9zbxQh-e14wdUkClRxxlmcsCEG59mWALYquMSCbueqIh_OttM1zt_n/s320/men-vs-women.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5327510045419216674" />

Some say men and women are the same and no one should show any difference between them, even if he is a scientist. The well known fact both men and women behaves like people form two different planet is not acceptable by many, specially the feminist. It should be noted that these feminist, most of them dress like men, try to behave like them and in many case they are not married. The fact that they should be given equal opportunity. But not like what they say in India, to reserve some seats only for women. What is the use of it? They should understand men got some special talent and the work which is meant for them should be done by them. Similarly women ot their talents and they should excel in those fields. By making the word same or equating each other doesn’t make any sense.

athul b nairhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04502070948165969045noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-712342464837008787.post-14103045368032463662009-04-21T19:47:00.005+05:302009-04-22T20:14:03.620+05:30Admire Great Works and Design

We should not be a miser when it comes to admire a good design or work.
